Join James Monroe’s Highland on Saturday, June 11, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., for Descendants Day. The Highland Council of Descendant Advisors invites you to an afternoon with other individuals and descendant communities whose ancestors were enslaved in Central Virginia and beyond. Guests will enjoy refreshments, music, resources, and stories. This event is free and open to the public.
